This award recognizes a CLA member with less than 5 years’ experience in the library field who demonstrates leadership or active participation in association work. Nominations should be in the form of a letter and should include:
- the nominee’s name and contact details
- details of the nominee’s contribution to association work, including a list of any elected or appointed leadership roles
- the nominator’s full name and contact information
- the nominee must be a current CLA member
The winner of the CLA Emerging Leader Award will be presented at the CLA National Conference. The award includes the following benefits:
- Complimentary CLA Conference Registration
- Travel & Accommodation to CLA Conference
- Presentation Plaque
Nominations deadline: February 28 Annually
