To advise Executive Council with respect to:
- advocacy positions on information policy in Canada, including pending national and international legislation and treaties
- the need for statements to the press, television, and radio on information policy, especially as it affects libraries and the information professions
- the content of the Information and Telecommunication Access Principles and Citizenship Access to Information Data Banks – Right to Privacy Position Statement
To collaborate with any Networks which develop related to information policy issues.
